What are your fees?

My fees vary because I work in two states— New York and Texas—and they are based on the standard rates for licensed clinical social workers in these locations. Please contact me for more information.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept third party payment from any health plan, but if you have out of network coverage I can provide you with monthly itemized bills, which you can submit directly to your insurance for reimbursement according to your policy plan.

Tell me more about how you work. Can you explain your approach?

 My approach is informed by my training in psychoanalysis as well as cognitive behavioral therapies. I am curious about how past experiences influence current struggles and I blend open-ended exploration with practical problem solving.

Beyond any specific training or treatment approach, I believe that a good therapeutic fit has the most impact.

Can I fill out forms before we meet?

Yes. I use a HIPAA compliant cloud-based practice management system to store confidential records and client contact information. Prior to our first session I will send you a link, so you can access the secure website to fill out forms. Existing clients can access my secure portal.
